Westwood Branch Library is pleased to offer its Playaway audiobook collection to it patrons. Playaway is a small pre-loaded audio device that allows you to read your book on the go. Just plug in an earbud or headphone, push the start button, and listen to the book anywhere! The Playaway collection is made available with the generous donation of Friends of Westwood Library, and is available at Westwood Library only.

Los Angeles Public Library continues to provide educational resources for lifelong learners. Ed2go is their newest online course. It offers hundreds of highly interactive online courses conducted by expert instructors. The courses run for six weeks and new sessions begin every month. Subjects offered are for professional development and personal enrichment. Certification Courses are offered in three categories of Health Care, Computer, and Project Management.
